Yes, we know that being routine can become very boring, but when it regards routine safety checks for your vehicle for the protection of hundreds of others on the road it should never be taken lightly.
At Ideal, we strongly encourage you to enroll your fleet into our routine safety check program. We start from the ground up to ensure that all of your vehicles are safe for the road.
Routine Maintenance and Safety Checks are our life-blood. We understand that your bottom line is extremely important but protecting your vehicles to ensure that bottom line is just as important. We want to ensure that what’s under the hood, under the trailer, and under our seats is in good, safe shape.
Regular Maintenance
Our Routine Safety Checks are included in our Preventive Maintenance program for our fleet maintenance clients.
We ensure the following:
- Oil and all fluids are topped off and free of leaks
- All engine components are clean and free of debris that can lead to malfunction or a fire
- The vehicles transmission is lubricated, no loose fittings, and the suspension is in good shape
- We check for rust or weak spots on your vehicles frame
- We check the integrity of your vehicles axles and CV joints (if applicable)
- We lubricate all joints to eliminate excessive wear and tear
- We inspect your trailer to ensure that no loose parts are visible and pose a road hazard for passenger vehicles behind you
- We inspect all vehicles lights and replace, as necessary
- We do an in-cabin safety inspection (seat in good condition, seat belts function properly, all gauges are working properly, interior lighting is good, wipers function correctly, etc…)
Once we complete a routine inspection we certify that your vehicle is road worthy and is safe to operate.
